On Saturday morning, we'll dive deep into the critical aspects of consent, safety, and communication essential for any shibari or power exchange scene. Without these elements, neither safety nor enjoyment for you or your partner is guaranteed. We're committed to thorough training, ensuring you become a confident and trustworthy leader and a receptive, communicative partner.

After grounding in the essentials, we begin by learning how to step out of the mind and drop into the body. You’ll discover how to cocoon your partner into safety - how to touch, hold, and move in a way that settles the nervous system and invites trust. From this place, rope becomes a language of care.

We then flow into beginner Shibari techniques, guided by creative states inspired by nature - water’s fluidity, air’s lightness, earth’s steadiness, and fire’s intensity. These elements become doorways into intuitive tying and embodied presence.

In the afternoon, the work deepens. We explore energy exchange, provocation, and vulnerability through sensation play and more daring body positions designed to gently stretch your comfort zone. This is where somatics come alive: learning how the body responds to intensity, how to stay present in edge, and how to meet sensation as information rather than threat.

The day closes with an optional (and highly recommended) Rope Play Party from 9 PM until around midnight.

This is where practice becomes play.

You get to explore, create, and experiment in a social, consent-based space - using everything you’ve learned to craft your own scenes. Meditative or erotic. Soft or edgy. Grounded or wild. You decide the flavor.
